Job Locations and Reviews
Arrived at HOs residence and was informed of the situation. Began inspecting the duct work for leaks or any sign of infiltration. Was unable to discover any holes or leaks in the duct work. Discovered majority of the registers to not be sealed. Customers only availability for the work to be done is Dec 9th or 11th. Will follow up with customer tomorrow once she's had a chance to go over her options.
Inspected entire system. Tested heating as well. System is heat is functioning as intended at this time as well as furnace safties. Did make recommendations with HO approval. Customer will take time to think over his estimates
Identified upstairs system to be low on refrigerant. Customer also was doing Electrical work yesterday and shut off the breakers. Restored power after discovering a breaker in the off position. Did find leak in the underside of the evaporator coil. Recommend replacing system at this time due to age. Will quote multiple options. Customer also requested estimate to replace both systems. HO will talk it over tonight. Scheduled a call back time for Friday.
Installed new copper line set Installed new copper cover Pressure tested system recharge with 407c System is now cooling well
Discovered zero Refrigerant pressures in the system. recommended a new linset. Customer has agreed and the install will happen on Monday at 12.
Found problem in main breaker panel customer lost a leg in main power. He need an electric company to come out
Found primary and secondary drain line clogged Installed ball Valve and cleaned drain lines. Systems now cooling.
Customer stated unit was making a very loud noise outside. Recorded footage of said noise and began diagnosing. Verified capacitor was within the intended range. Ohmed and amped drawer compressor. Identified compressor to be in failure at this time. Recommend replacing condenser and coil at this time due.
Diagnosed board to be faulty after testing ecm motor with a ecm motor tester. Will call Carrier for availability.
Discovered the furnace to have improper power coming in. 120 volts on one leg and 1.7 volts on the other leg. This caused the furnace board to display a error code for the blower motor. Discovered the issue by checking the blower motor plug for power which was below the intended range. Recommend calling a electrician at this time.
Replaced duct workin the attic from metal to new r8 flex Installed new boxes on second floor When the drywall is repaired please have the painter caulk the boxes to the ceiling drywall
Upon arrival HO informed me the outside unit was running but there was no air moving in the home. Checked the furnace and discovered the Single run capacitor to the blower motor to be lower than the intended charge. Informed HO and received approval for replacement. Installed Single run capacitor and began testing system. System is now cooling at this time.
Diagnosed a faulty capacitor on downstairs unit. Checked pressures and delta t.System is performing properly at the moment. Upstairs unit thermostat was set to fan on . Set the thermostat to auto . System was low in charge as well.Charged the system to the proper level.System is performing properly at the moment.
Recover cut and reinstall solar condenser Added 13 pounds 410 system is now cooling well
Tstat is not communicating with furnace recommendation is to replace Tstat- customer said they are going to do it themselves
Need to replace existing metal duct with flew duct to stop the sweating 1 run of 9. 2 runs of 7. 1 run of 6. 1 of 5 and 1 of 4
Performed tune up on both units.Checked presurres and components amp draw.Checked delta t and flushed drain lines. Replaced uv light bulb on the downstairs system.Replaced media filters on both systems.20×25×4 and 5"inch filter. Upstairs system was low in charge.Charge the system to the proper level and cleaned condensers units.Systems are performing properly at the moment.
Centerpoint came out to do Electrical repair and changed the phasing causing the hvac units to run backwards. Will return tomorrow to make the repairs. Shut units down for the time being to prevent further damage.
Found the phases had been reversed on the fan motors and the compressors Located the incorrect phase wires Moved them to the correct position for the motors and the compressors Tested systems are now cooling well

Power surge over the weekend. After reseting fire alarm on units I began testing systems. Was able to turn systems on however there was no cooling for any of the systems. Began inspection all unit compressors to which I discovered all have failed at this time. Will quote later this afternoon.
Customer wanted a T9 Smart Honeywell Thermostat installed. Informed them of the charge for smart thermostats. Did not want to proceed after that. Was interested in a Zoning System but declined a estimate.
Customer stated the facade brick wall from the building had fallen recently on to the unit. It has stopped working since then. During my inspection I discovered the blower and Evaporator cabinet to have been crushed. Discovered substantial amount of oil in the drain line. This is evidence of a leak. Recommend replacing system at this time. Will send quote later this afternoon.
Blew out Primary and Secondary drain lines. Secondary drain line is flowing well and has drained the pan while I was there. Primary drain line has been blown out however the plumbing the drain line runs into May be backed up. Recommend calling a plumber to take a look at it or suggest doing a primary drain line reroute.
Warranty replacement of TXV and Compressor. Freon included. 15lbs of refrigerant. System is cooling at this time.
