Additionally, I adjusted the pilot light and tested the gas pressure to maximize heating efficiency. After completing these steps, I verified that the system was primed to deliver efficient and safe heating as temperatures continued to fall.
Damper motors and board not communicating correctly
Thermostat Repair Service: The client complained of uneven cooling throughout their home. I discovered that the thermostat was improperly placed, leading to inaccurate temperature readings. After relocating and recalibrating the thermostat, the home achieved consistent and balanced cooling.
Diagnosed a faulty contactor not engaging 240v and 24 v. Compressor is making a loud noise .Pressures are unstable jumping up and down.Gave customer options on replacing condenser unit and txv.
Upon inspection I discovered the fan motor to be malfuntioning and only spinning a few times before stopping, confirmed proper voltage, fan motor is also overheating. Called to confirm warranty. Will confirm availability with carrier. Customer has agreed to warranty repair at this time. Replaced condenser fan motor and system is operational at this time, allowed time to pass before verification of refrigerant pressure. Supply temp of 62° and pressures are within the intended range.
Performed tune up on upstairs unit. Checked pressures and components amp draw. Cleaned condenser . System is performing properly.Diagnosed a bad condenser fan motor. Runs a few minutes and stops.Unable to performed tune up . Will contact homeowner tomorrow morning to verify warranty with manufacture.

Renewing pro plan membership. Verified everything was working correctly. Checked capacitors, electric components and pressures. Cleaned condenser coils. Slight condensation coming from plenum dripping some water onto sheetrock, sealed the spots I thought it was coming from.

Customer complaint condenser fan motor not spinning. When I arrived the system was off. Ran system and unit kicked on. Fan motor is a ecm motor. Ran system for a while and turned it on and off. Checked amp draws. Fan running normal. Signed customer up for maintenance on 2 system house. Performed system maintenance on 2 system house. Inspected evaporator coil and drain line. Checked blower and air flow. Inspected condenser coil. Checked capacitor and contactor. Checked pressures and amp draws. Downstaids system was slightly low on r410a. Added 1 pound of refrigerant to system. Washed condenser. System running normal at this time.
Customer complaint system using alot of electricity. Found low 40+5uf capacitor causing compressor to run hot. Customer gave him ahead on replacing capacitor. No maintenance at this time. Replaced capacitor and ran system. Checked system pressures. Masterbedroom has plenty of airflow. System running normal at this time. Recommend not opening window.
